Finally back in Santa Monica! Feels amazing to be in sunny California weather again.

Only in town for about a week and a half but trying to fit in as much as possible.

Quick little vlog today but I hope you like it! My schedule has been all over the place lately and I am **hoping** next week things get back to normal. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for your patience!

Today’s vlog is from Connecticut and NYC! This was my first time ever visiting Connecticut and it was SO beautiful. Honestly had no idea the East Coast had any beaches like that – very very pretty.

Highly recommend visiting Greenwich Point Park if you’re ever in Connecticut! Also I’ve since learned it’s not pronounced GREEN-WITCH but GREN-ITCH, because…. logic. English makes zero sense, honestly lol.

Anywho, great day in GREN-ITCH and New York! Make sure you head over to youtube and show this video some love!

This is the first time in a VERY long time I’ve taken a little staycation! Troy and I decided to wrap up our trip to Montreal by staying at Hotel Le Crystal in downtown Montreal.

We were able to stay in the Executive Suite and it was SO beautiful! Legit all we did was lay around and eat room service and drink champagne. It was PERFECT. My version of a vacation is literally doing nothing hahah. Exploring and seeing things is travel to me, not vacation. Vacation is a very special category where I just want to be fed good food and drinks and have no other purpose to my existence except to eat said food and drinks. Also possibly have a very long bath. That is up there too.

Hotel Le Crystal also had a cool outdoor hottub – I can imagine it would be STUNNING in the winter as well when the whole area is covered in snow!

Actually quite sad to be leaving Montreal after two months now that the weather has gotten so nice. The city really came to life when the weather started warming up. Every night everyone would be hanging out in parks having wine and picnics, going to festivals, enjoying outdoor patios, etc. Super cool vibe and I really would love to come back in the summer again!

Anywho, that’s all for today! Hope you enjoyed this Montreal Staycation and feel free to leave a comment here or on YouTube saying hi ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello again from another Montreal day! This was SO much more fun than I thought it was going to be.

Troy and I booked ourselves for an afternoon of “traditional Canadian Axe throwing” and it was such a riot! (Wow do I sound like a 90 year old woman or what? RIOT?)

Anyways, way more fun than I expected. Although I am not sure how “traditional” it was because as a Canadian who has spent most of my life living in Canada, I have never thrown an axe lol.

As you can see, I clearly am highly connected to my ancestors. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anyways, make sure you check out today’s axe throwing vlog! Had the best time shooting this so I hope you enjoy it too.

What a weekend!! Sorry for the late post today, but we were so busy all weekend I had to upload Monday morning this week instead of the usual Sunday night.

This weekend Troy and I drove from NYC to upstate New York with a bunch of friends. On Saturday our group split up to do different activities. We decided to visit West Point Military Academy so Troy could show me where he went to school!

As a Canadian, the world of US military is very foreign to me and I pretty much have zero grasp on the industry as a whole. It was very interesting to see what it’s like to go to a military university/college, so so SOOOOO different from my uni experience lol.

Anyways, find out what happened at West Point in today’s vlog!

I might have gone a bit overboard on the puppy footage in today’s New York City vlog but I just couldn’t help myself!

The last week or so has not been the greatest – I’ve been sick with the flu and my voice sounds pretty terrible. So, apologies about THAT.

We’re in NYC for a few days and there’s so much to do it’s honestly kind of overwhelming, but I will definitely keep you updated and look forward to seeing you again on Sunday!

Thanks for watching, you’re the best.

First vlog back in California waddup!! So nice to be back home (for a few days lol) before I take off on the next adventure.

Wanted to go out to Malibu to visit Point Dume,ย and was it ever amazing. The wildflowers out in Malibu are insane right now! Nothing more beautiful in my opinion.

Okay short post today because honestly I am still super jet lagged and about 1 minute away from falling asleep on my keyboard lol.

Have a great day!

What it’s really like traveling alone.

After a month of solo travel in Bali, I figured it was about time to post this video. Let’s call it the conclusion to my Bali trip and first time traveling alone.

Since it was my first time truly traveling alone, I decided at the beginning of the trip that I would record a video diary of my time in Bali. Anything to do with feelings/experiences on solo travel!

This is what I came up with, and I wanted to share it as a *hopefully useful guide to anyone thinking of traveling solo. Maybe “guide” is the wrong word… “realistic expectations” might be more appropriate. haha

It’s important to me to always be honest with you. And when I am vlogging, I am stoked 99% of the time. But there was a lot of time off camera on this trip where things went wrongย and/or I wasn’t super excited about where I was. So I wanted to share both the good and the not-so-good parts of solo travel to help give you a realistic summary of what the experience was like.

Hope you enjoy this video – and thank you for your support on the Bali series! So much more goodness to come – every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday ๐Ÿ˜‰
